I love the whimsy of this elephant water hyacinth hamper with a lid. It is fun for a child’s room or even a guest room or hallway to elicit a smile from anyone passing. While it is called a hamper it could hold many things other than laundry – extra towels or paper products for a guest bath, toys, or books. The elephant is 23” D x 15” W x 24”H and $119.00. There is also a whale and a unicorn hamper.
This basket is made from Mexican palm leaves and has leather handles. It comes in three sizes but the large is proportionally my favorite. It is 16.5” W x 16.5” D x 16.5” H. Each basket is handwoven and takes three days to complete. $155.00.
Update – Some sizes are sold out but are on order and will be available again soon.
