Alone maybe, but I have five coats and two vests on that rack with room for more and I doubt command strips could handle that much weight for an extended period of time. By Kelsey on October 27, 2015
I wouldn't think so at least not how we use them for winter coats and so on. I think in my case the items would be way to heavy. By TravelerTop Contributor: Makeupon October 28, 2015
I would not - needs to be secured properly. By BCord on October 27, 2015
Yes, If they are going to be for looks only or nothing heavy. But, I would not recommended. By Koke Citizen on October 27, 2015
The screws that came with this have worked very well. With all of the hooks being used, this has held up very well. I wouldn't recommend using command strips, however. I suppose you could just buy command strip hooks and see if that works. However, I really like this item. By Lisa A. Czarny on October 27, 2015
Not a good idea. You need to attach the rail to studs because coats and bags get heavy. By John J. on October 27, 2015
The hook rail is built to be fastened to the wall with screws that attach from the front of the hook rail. I don't think that command strips would work. By Flying BulldogsSELLERon October 27, 2015
